    A home or office blood draw is a service that allows a trained phlebotomist to come to your location—whether it's your home or workplace—to collect blood samples for testing. This convenient option eliminates the need to travel to a lab or clinic, making it easier for individuals who may have mobility issues, busy schedules, or simply prefer the comfort of their own environment. The process is typically quick, professional, and designed to ensure safety and comfort throughout the blood collection.

  • How long does the blood draw process take?

    The process usually takes about 10-15 minutes in total, and you’ll be free to resume your normal activities afterward. 

  • Are your phlebotomists certified and trained?

    Yes, we have trained/ certified phlebotomists.

  • Do I need to prepare for the blood draw (e.g., fasting)?
    It all depends of what is specified on the lab order by your doctor
    some Fasting Requirements:
    Fasting Tests: Some tests, like glucose or lipid panels, may require you to fast for 8-12 hours beforehand. You should always drink water during this time.
  • Are there any side effects I should be aware of?

    Bruising: It's common to experience some bruising at the site where the needle was inserted.
    Soreness: You might feel mild soreness in your arm after the draw.
    Dizziness or Lightheadedness: Some people may feel faint or dizzy during or after the blood draw, especially if they're anxious or haven't eaten.
    Nerve Irritation: In rare cases, the needle may irritate a nerve, causing temporary tingling or pain.
    Hematoma: A hematoma, or a localized collection of blood outside of blood vessels, can occur if blood leaks into surrounding tissue, it varies person to person depending on what medications they are Taking. Medications like Aspirin and other Blood thinners can sometimes cause hematoma. It also varies person to person how long it takes to heal.

  • How much does a home or office blood draw cost?

    The cost of a home or office blood draw can vary based on several factors, including:

  • Do you accept insurance?

    We accept Medicare and most commercial insurance.

  • What if I don't have insurance?

    we have Low cost self- pay prices available, check our test directory

  • What if I have high deductible insurance?

    Inquire About Pricing for an estimate of the costs for the blood draw and any tests you may need. This will help you budget for out-of-pocket expenses.
    Payment Options are available for Some services or discounts for paying upfront. Inquire if they have options for those with high deductible plans.

  • What are your hours of operation?
    Our Hours are different daily because we provide home draw services as well as in the office. 
    Palmcoast office is Tuesday and Friday 7am to 12pm by appointments only
    Wintergarden Office is Monday and Thursday 8am to 1pm by appointments only
     
  • Can I schedule a blood draw for weekends or holidays?
    We do not offer blood draws for weekends or holidays due to specimen stability issues.
  • What should I do if I need to reschedule my appointment?
    Please call us as soon as possible
    no refunds for any deposits within 24hrs of your appointment. 
  • Can I request a specific phlebotomist for my appointment?
    yes, time and day may vary depending on availability 
  • What if I have a medical condition that affects my blood draw?
    Please let us know when making appointments of any conditions and how it affects you, so our technician is prepared ahead of time.
  • How can I contact you if I have more questions?

  • What should I do if I experience complications after my blood draw?

    If you feel the need to stop your Blood draw Please let the technician know right away.

  • What if I receive a bill from the lab?

    Call us, call the lab or your insurance before you pay any bill if you are not sure or think that it may be incorrect.
